Brian Jost

Hi! My name is Brian Jost and I’m a multi-faceted musician living here in the Twin Cities. Having graduated from North Central University in Minneapolis with a Bachelor’s degree in music, I’ve been pursuing a career in music since 2018. In addition to providing lessons, I play guitar, piano, and sing for several touring bands and artists. Last year I spent most of my summer touring the US and Europe playing for the artist “Ber”. We played a mix of festivals and headline shows, selling out rooms in London, Minneapolis, and New York City. When I’m not teaching or playing shows, you can find me out and about with my two dogs, Auggie and Stanley.

Teaching Philosophy

Objectively, music has a major influence on the world around us. I believe it’s of utmost importance for everyone to be exposed to, and educated about art to some extent. Music is an entire world of emotions, complex ideas, and storytelling. Which is why regardless of age, skill level, or learning style, I want to make it my mission to help you excel at, and find the joy in your craft.
