Emily Brewer

Emily Brewer is a saxophonist and educator in the Minneapolis and St. Paul areas. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Saxophone Performance from St. Norbert College and a Master of Music degree in Saxophone Performance from the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities, respectively. Emily will be continuing at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities for a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in Saxophone Performance in the Fall of 2020. She is also pursuing an education licensure at the University of Minnesota.

Emily has performed at venues throughout Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, and Arizona with chamber groups and as a soloist. She was also awarded second place in the Schubert Club Competition in 2019. Since 2018, Emily has been teaching piano, saxophone, and clarinet. Emily has a passion for performing and teaching. She believes that all students have the potential to create something amazing. Emily hopes that students will discover their passion for music and ignite a spark of joy when performing and creating.

  • $60 / per hour lesson in studio
  • $5 more per in home lesson

Attendance Policy

Cancelled lessons require a 24 hour notice for a credit or rescheduled lesson to be considered. If I need to cancel a lesson, a credit or rescheduled lesson will be honored. No show/no call or cancellations less than 24 hours in advance will be considered a paid lesson regardless.
