‘Cookin’ @ the Children’s Theater

Instead of Jersey Boys on September 23rd, we have decided to take the OMA student field trip to see Cookin’! The Children’s Theater in Minneapolis instead. It is a family friendly, kid friendly show, and if we get at least 15 attendees, we get to take advantage of the 20% off ticket rate! Message us to reserve your tickets! Reservations must be placed and tickets purchased by September 1st, so hurry!
Youth ages 17 and under, as well as adults 62 and over: $41.60 each
Adults 18-61: $49.60
Prices do not include taxes or fees. Tickets are for current or past Opus students.
Here is a synopsis of “Cookin'”:
With a crazy deadline looming near, four frenzied chefs turn their kitchen into a dynamic, veggies-flying-everywhere performance as Korean samulnori drumming and martial arts take center stage. During this wildly energetic cooking competition, the chefs put on a masterful display of percussive food chopping, knife throwing, pot banging, and fire-blowing wizardry that will make you laugh, scream in delight, and even beg for a chance to sample their food. Get ready to stomp your feet and clap your hands for a show that’s truly Cookin’!
