She competed in 4-H music competitions, Minnesota Music Teachers’ Association (MMTA) piano competitions and the MN Chapter of the American Harp Society’s harp evaluations. She has played for numerous weddings, recitals, performance opportunities and became an integral part of the music team for her home church and other churches from the age of 13, playing both harp and piano as well as singing. She played harp in both the university band and orchestra and accompanied the university choir and vocal soloists. Hannah also had the opportunity to study abroad in Scotland for a semester, which fed her love of folk music. She has recorded two solo albums and is currently pursuing a Master’s program in folk music with a desire to use folk music in a music therapy setting.
