Amidst the whirlwind of our lives, music seems to find its way to coax a composition through the chaos. I don’t know about you, but for my little family at home and my big Opus family, the month of May is exceptionally busy. Somehow through this busyness, I still get excited when I see my piano practice time on my schedule every day; I still get excited to practice singing in my car through all of my daily driving: to networking meetings, my childrens’ activities, Opus events, going from one Opus location to another, and simply driving home after what seems like a concerto of a day.

If you consider the perspective of the busyness of life through the lens of a musical composition in progress, just imagine what life could look, and sound, like.

Remember to take your rests throughout your composition, and see your work to the end. You could surprise the world.
