Teaching Philosophy
In a nutshell, my ultimate goal for students is to foster a love for music. I seek to help students enjoy the learning process by making lessons engaging and inspiring. Building strong fundamentals — note and rhythm reading, technique, musical expressions — are critical as a foundation to lifelong learning. As every student is unique, I seek to adapt teaching methods to their strengths, interests, and learning styles. Teaching students how to practice effectively and problem-solve helps them become more confident and independent musicians.
