Madeline Baumgart-Rieger

Born and raised in Nashville, TN, Madeline Baumgart-Rieger loved music from an early age. She holds her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance and Music Business, and she is pursuing her master’s degree in Music Therapy at Augsburg University. Throughout her high school and undergraduate years, Madeline sang in choir, played clarinet in the marching and concert bands, played piano in various jazz bands, and gave solo recitals.

As Vice President of Opus Music Academy, Madeline is deeply involved and passionate about the school’s mission to make music lessons available to all.

Madeline has a deep appreciation for all genres of music. Some of her favorite composers are Chopin, Debussy, and Schumann, but she also loves many modern musicians such as Lady Gaga and Maggie Rogers. You can also always count on her for a Disney sing along!

As a student of Madeline, you can expect to learn a solid foundation that will prepare you for future success as a growing musician. Along the way, you’ll explore the world of music through music of your choosing in addition to being introduced to music from different eras and areas of the world.
