Rose Cianflone
Rose is a violin teacher whose love for music began at a young age growing up in central Minnesota. She first started playing at the age of 11 after begging her parents to let her take violin lessons. She has further pursued her passion by studying music and obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Music at St. Cloud State University, where she studied violin under Marion Judish.
Rose’s teaching philosophy is centered around nurturing a love and passion for music, and focusing on what brings out that love. She believes that every student has the potential to excel, and her role as a teacher is to guide them on their musical journey. Rose’s lessons are tailored to each person’s individual needs and goals, focusing on what drives the student to want to further explore their love for music. She is open minded when it comes to genre and style and is excited to help students discover what it is that lights their fire. When Rose first started playing, she fell in love with Celtic folk music, but has since expanded to playing anything from classical music to rock to pop.
Rose has played in multiple chamber orchestras, including St. Cloud State University Orchestra, Long Prairie Chamber Orchestra, and Loveland Orchestra. She currently plays live music around the Twin Cities area with several local bands and enjoys playing music with others whenever she gets the chance.
Outside of music, she enjoys acrylic/oil painting, embroidering, knitting, growing plants, and cooking new things (so please share your favorite recipes!). She will take any opportunity to road trip across the US and loves swimming, hiking, and generally spending as much time possible in the limited warm weather of Minnesota.

Attendance policy
I understand life is unexpected so a notice 24 hours in advance would be appreciated. If a cancelation is less than 24 hours, lessons will be charged as a regular lesson (some exceptions will be at the discretion of the instructor). If for any reason I cancel a lesson, I will do my best to schedule a make up lesson. However, if we can’t find a time, you will not be charged for that lesson.
