Steve Perkins

​Steve Perkins is an accomplished musician and technician with a wealth of experience. He holds his Bachelor of Music from Visible Music College as well as his Associates of Arts in Audio Engineering from San Jacinto College. Steve Interned at the prestigious Sunrise Sound Studios in Houston, a recording home for artists such as Lenny Kravitz and Beyoncé. A skilled Singer/Songwriter, he produced his self titled album “Beautiful Word”. He holds experience composing Electronic Music, specifically Synthwave, with programs such as Pro Tools and Reason.

Steve is married to his beautiful wife Jennifer of 10 years and have one dog and one cat as their children. In his spare time, Steve likes to read comic books, play N64 video games, and take walks with his wife and their black lab Conan. You will also find Steve enjoying culture in big cities, especially the Twin Cities. He is excited to be a part of Opus Music Academy as Steve has a desire to develop musicians while also being a positive influence within the community.

Rates

  • $40 / half hour lesson
  • $52 / 45-minute lesson

Cancellation Policy

Lessons cancelled within 24 hours will be considered paid with no makeup guaranteed. Certain exceptions may be made at the discretion of the instructor.

If you decide to cancel lessons permanently, Steve requires one month notice.
