On January 31st, Opus had our winter formal recital. When the school opened in 2018, we started with 1 school-wide recital…then we had to add a second recital time as Opus grew. In 2024, we added a third recital time. First recital of 2026, and we had to add a 4th recital time. It is truly a testament to the dedication of the students, parents, and teachers who provide support and the opportunity to shine! Well done everyone, and we can’t wait to see more of you at our Spring Recital (Date TBD).

At the end of the 4th recital (maybe fatigue had something to do with it 😏),  I was overcome with emotion and gratitude. When you open a business, you have your big dream and vision, and all the little details along the way. It’s impossible to see every single thing that could happen as the baby business grows…I never thought I’d witness so many students’ lives touched, I hadn’t considered so many homes filled with the sounds of music, and as we enter our 7th year, Opus students graduating high school and pursuing music in college. My heart was and is full. I’m so proud of the students and our team of teachers and admin.
