Happy Spring to All!

As I prepare to leave on vacation to the wilderness of Canyonlands National Park in Utah,  I realize I’m leaving my school behind and be disconnected…but I never, EVER, worry.  We have worked so hard to find some of the best teachers for our customers.  Teachers and administrative staff who I trust 100% to keep Opus running smooth, and ensuring that everyone is well taken care of- not every business owner can say that. Not only does my team take extra care of the school, and act as leaders in my absence, but they also leave me alone. Not to say that I don’t want them to reach out to me because I adore them, but they respect that their fearless leader needs a break too. And they know I’ll happily respond to them if they need me to while I’m gone.

Being in the wilderness is such a personal, refreshing, revitalizing, and incredible opportunity for me to grow as a mother, sister, daughter, wife, business owner, and active community member. It allows me to be humbled, be more introspective, and opens my heart and mind to all the possibilities the world has to offer.  I always come back to work (and life) a better person and ready to take on anything that comes my way. The best part? It makes me a better person for you, our customers.

May this new season of earth’s rebirth bring you fresh perspective, open hearts, minds, and ears to the sounds of music that the world has to offer.

Yours in humble service,

Kathy Petersen
